Roti

Paul and I have been trying out some new places to eat in the area as of late. Tonight's location was Roti Mediterranean Grill. This is a newer restaurant in town (the only other location being in the city). They consider themselves a 'fast-food' restaurant....the set up is similar to Chipotle or Noodles & Co. For those of you in southwest Michigan, it's a fast-food version of LaShish.

Paul and Elise shared the grilled chicken kabob platter, served with rice and tomato, onion and cucumber salad. They ordered the "Slightly" Spicy Roti Sauce with their dish, which was a very tasty tomato base sauce with some zing (spicy is supposed to bring on labor, right?). I had the Flatbread Pita Wrap with Fire Roasted Chicken Roti and chose the Dill, Yogurt and Cucumber sauce. They piled on salad greens, cucumbers and tomatoes (though you can also choose hummus, feta cheese and a number of other veggies). All of the food was delish!
